Groomsman: Alastair Hardie

Say hello to Alastair, Edward's old uni flatmate and now fisherman - I mean oceanographer. A man with a Scottish name and an English heart.

Hailing from Exeter, right in the heart of our wedding stomping grounds, Alastair's journey has taken him from Dubai to Australia, and now onto Hamburg.

He’s a beast on the rugby field, which is impressive given his age. And while our uni days may be behind us, the memories of very epic nights out, crazy stories, and mischievous escapades on the journey home are very much alive. You’ll certainly see him tearing up the dancefloor. 

Fun fact about Alastair: He speaks perfect German - go on and test him!
